I'm sorry to hear of Carole's passing. I didn't know her well, but remember her while in High School.

My condolences to her family and friends.

I had known Carole and her sister Linda since we were kids in the courts in Park Forest.  She was someone I went through school with all those years.  She had a beautiful singing voice.  She beat me out for the lead in Carousel as the MUCH better singer.  I have been wondering why there was no word of her during the reunion.

And now I read she has passed away.  May Carole rest in peace. Cheri Gipson

Oh my--another friend lost.  Carole was such a good friend way back when; she had a great party at her house where we all danced, laughed and had tons of fun.  She had a great singing voice.  I hope she had a good life filled with love and with few tears.  Vadonna McFalls Berry

I was so sorry to hear of Carole's passing--my sincere sympathy to her sister, Linda, and all of her family members.  It was a joy to share three years in high school choir with Carole.  Her beautiful voice seemed so effortless, and she could sing everything, from classical solos, to Julie Jordan in Carousel to folk music.  She was a good actress, too, talented in so many ways, and fun to be with.  She will always be remembered by all who knew her--and especially by those of us who were lucky enough to have shared in making music with her.

Carol and I had a great time in choir. I loved teasing her because she had a wonderful sense of humor. As she had the lead in Carousel I had the pleasure of doing a dance in the show with Linda, her sister. We had a cast party after the show and Linda and I danced all around the house. I'm sure Carol gave pleasure to many others through her singing and tender heart. I'll sing with you later Carol.
